Here is a video of Adrienne speed crawling to get the Easter Eggs. She just wouldn't clap for me.

This is a video of Adrienne "walking" with her car. This is one of the ways that she likes to get around. She also grabs onto anything she can to pull herself up and get around. She is something. We can't leave her alone for a minute or there will inevitably be a crash.

She also likes to go into her room and play with her toys. It is amazing to watch her entertain herself. It is also quite a relief. Now we can actually get things done while she plays because she doesn't need us to entertain her. It is such a great age! I just love it!

She loves to dance. If there is music playing, she will most likely start dancing to it.

She has recently started clapping, giving kisses, waving, and climbing the stairs. Can you say trouble maker?

Meet my new niece!

Cadence Faith Schaeffer arrived on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 5:09am. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21 inches long. Big girl!

On Sunday, Adrienne and I went to visit Matt, Retta, and Cady. Adrienne was not quite sure about another baby. We wanted to get a picture of just the two girls, but Cady wasn't very happy and Adrienne wanted to be near her mommy. This is as good as we could get.

10 months already!

So I haven't posted in a while. I kept meaning to, but I just didn't quite get to it.

Adrienne turned 10 months old yesterday. She has officially been out of the womb longer than she was in it now. I can't believe it. It truly seems like I was just pregnant. They really do mean it when they say time flies.

Is Jeremy thoughtful or what? I just loved it. It was a perfect first Mother's Day.

Adrienne now is starting to let go of things when she is standing. She will be walking shortly. Now if only she would get some teeth. Her bottom teeth are very close, but not there yet. I am going to post some more pictures and videos in a few more posts tonight. Enjoy!

Adrienne's New Shoes!

Adrienne is officialy crawling! How exciting is that? I will post a video soon. I can't tear myself away sometimes to go get the camera. She really gets around. For a while now she has been finding ways to move around, but now she is definitely crawling. And we thought she would skip it. I guess not. She loves to try to get into things she is not supposed to, like cords and such. Her absolute favorite thing to try to get to is the dog's water dish. It is impossible to keep her away unless I hide the dish. Anyway, now that she is crawling and constantly on the move, we want to be ready when she starts walking so we went and got her her first pair of shoes today.
See the pretty flowers on the side? She was such a good girl at the shoe store. She sat there patiently and let the salesman put them on her. She wouldn't take any steps in them there though. When we got home she walked all over in them, with help from Mommy and Daddy of course. She had to adjust her crawling to compensate for them, but other than that she had no problems or complaints about the shoes. She is such a sweet little girl.

Getting Big...

So Adrienne is 7 months old now. Time sure is flying!

On Sunday, February 8, we went to Shamokin with Jeremy's Dad and Step-mom to visit his Grandmother and introduce Adrienne to her.

On Sunday, February 15, my best friend Erika, who is recently home from Iraq, came with her mom to meet Adrienne. We were so happy she could get here to see her. She will be coming to visit again in a couple weeks with her husband, Scott, also recently home from Iraq. They will be staying at our house as they have in the past. This time however, there is a baby living across the hall from their room. Let's hope Adrienne has a good couple of nights. :)

On the first, Adrienne hit the seven month mark. I can hardly believe it! She is getting so big. She sits completely on her own, rolls over, and stands while holding onto the ottoman. She has absolutely no interest in crawling. She seems to want to skip that and go straight to walking. She talks up a storm. She is getting very close to saying Dada. She loves to eat off of a spoon, but is getting less and less interested in the bottle. She loved every vegetable that crossed her lips and is now starting to devour fruits. By the end of the month, she will also have had meats.

So big!

I bought Adrienne a blowup tubby because she was too big for the infant tub. For the first two days she wasn't quite sure of it, but that quickly changed. She loves to splash and play. I even found baby bubble bath so she can have plenty of bubbles in her tubby.
